The Desert (Ghetto) Shall Rejoice

Isaiah 35 says that God will cause His greatness and glory to transform the hardest places on the earth. The wilderness is expressed often as a part of the children if Isreal's story; It is a baren and uncultivated place, a wasteland. The story portrayed through Isaiah here is that God will choose to pour Himself out in the hardest of places. He will cause the wilderness and the wasteland to abundantly blossom. He will cause the people in these places to rejoice. He will plant the house of prayer in the hardest places in the earth as a way for the people of the earth to see His excellence and strength and glory.
